I kid you not I saw this on Grove Avenue yesterday.
It was the size of a dog.
I have a zillion more shots of him (or her). I kept getting closer and closer, wondering why it wouldn't fly away....was he wounded (poor thing),
was he old (poor thing)...
....and then I realized.
He wasn't scared.
Of me.Maybe I was the one who should have been scared...
Maybe I was the one who was almost lunch.

There are several of these in the area. This is one of the smaller ones. The big one isn't afraid of anything and is truly scary when you get up close to him.
