Just as a point of observation, Virginia must have more vanity plates per capita than any other state.
The best is the top plate. I've always wondered about the owners of vanity plates. Motivation?
1) Why have I become obsessed with these?
2) I agree with B Squared, and,
3) I would have a vanity plate if I were clever enough, but alas....
Richmond native here. I always thought it was normal for so many people to have vanity plates until I moved away. I do thinks it's specific to Richmond rather than Virginia. Now that I've been gone for a while I can't decide if it's charming or obnoxious.
