Houses I Covet

This is one of the cutest houses I have ever seen in my life
--anywhere.

Everything about this is perfect--the color, the color of the trees, the fencing, the slant of the roof, the severe black shutters, the ornate snow white trim.

Even its situation on the corner is correct.

I usually crop things more severely, but I wanted you to see the parameters of this house--there is no hidden portion--this is it.

I just know my friend Ed would love this, and maybe the people of the 'small/tiny house blogosphere.'

It seems so simple. You live here sleep here, roll out of bed and go to the coffeeshop...stroll, amble. Small dwellings force you into the world--it's good for you.

Here is a super-narrow house.  It may be the narrowest house in Richmond. The balcony on the left and the window on the right are NOT part of this house.

***
Look at the brickwork sidewalks.

I love Church Hill.  This entire area reminds me of Providence, RI, where I spent some of the happiest times in my life.

Maybe this is one of the happiest times in my life.
